Summer temps are heating up just like our many broadband project areas on the schedule for 2021. As we communicated earlier this year, we have an ambitious project schedule to construct 500 miles of fiber and we are diligently working across several areas to meet our projected timelines.

In our April update, we provided information for you regarding the lengthy process that must take place with fiber construction including many moving parts in order for fiber service to get to your premise. We are excited that much progress has been made since April in multiple project areas and invite you to revisit the previous update if you have questions related to the construction process.

Several project areas are eligible to sign up now for service where construction is underway or complete. You can learn more about the status of your area in the chart below. While construction is still going on in your area, be sure to take advantage of our “free service drop” promotion if you live in an eligible area. You can do this online by visiting our website http://shop.barcconnects.net or calling 800-846-2272 and one of our Customer Service team members will be happy to assist you. We encourage all residents and businesses in eligible areas where construction is underway to sign up for service now so we can have you in our queue as construction is completed. We are also enhancing efforts to keep you updated on the status of your area with pre-construction postcards letting you know what to expect as well as follow-up information on service options and how to sign-up for service. Consumers with eligible addresses should have received information on how to sign up for service. You can always check our website http://www.barcconnects.net to see if your address is eligible for service by selecting “Sign Up Now”.

We also want to let everyone know that we are no longer offering TV service to new consumers effective April 1, 2021. And – we are excited to let you know that a new, enhanced website will be launched soon. The web address is the same, but we are adding additional information and features to help everyone better understand services provided.
